2011 Shelby GT350: Photos and Specs
To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original GT350, Shelby has announced the return of the pony car for the 2011 model year. The new Shelby will be based on Ford’s newest 5.0 Mustang GT. Owning a new GT350 will require the purchase of a factory Mustang GT and the purchase and installation of the Shelby upgrades. Your base mustang will be shipped to Shelby, where (for a small fee of $33,995) they will transform it into a 500hp monster worthy of the Shelby badge.
For has played a major role in the development of the new GT350. Aside from supplying the basis for the performance machine, the company’s racing division provided the supercharger and suspension upgrades. Also joining the team of experts were Baer, Goodyear, Borla, and Cragar.

Enthusiasts have anticipated the GT350’s return since it went out of production in 1970. Now my band of hot rodders has created a car worthy of the name.
